My daughter says it is time to update the blog. Being an observant father I will of course oblige. To be honest, I did not know if anyone was even reading it. After awhile you wonder if the posts are as much for self as for anyone else who reads. Now I know that I have at least one person who is checking the blog out. This means I will have to become even more regular in writing.

We often say something to the effect that if we were the only ones around that our Lord would die for us. I don't doubt the sincerity of that claim. I do wonder if we carry that through to a logical conclusion though. If we just had one life to impact would we still live a life worth of the call? What if we were not aware of anyone noticing us? Would we live in mediocrity or push ahead simply from gratitude for the miracle of the new birth? I was not aware anyone was even reading the blog so I slowed down on the posts. Turns out at least one person was looking regularly. Are you sure no one is noticing your life?
